Everything worked as advertised. This was a great campground in town and we enjoyed the easy access to the New River Trail.

We were there with a small group this weekend and we were very impressed with the campground. It is located in the woods up the side of a mountain. The sites are large and mostly laid out well. We were up the hill on the main road into the campground and it was very quiet. We will be back.

We are here now for an event at Carlisle. This is a great park. I have never seen so much green space for walking your dog. We are in the back of the park and it has been very quiet. Everyone is very friendly. Will definitely come back here again.

This is a beautiful, quiet, small park. The wifi worked great. Notice for dog owners - your dogs are not allowed to use the grass in the park between sites for their business. Unfortunately, there is no other grass except out on the road. Not a problem for us because we didn't bring our dogs on this trip but we talked to some other dog owners who would not have come there if they had known this in advance (it's not on their website). If your dog requires grass, you need to walk them on the road. We probably won't be back if we are traveling with our pets.

After making a reservation through the web site, received a call telling me that the Beaverdam campground was not yet open and we had to switch to the White Oak campground which was also electric/water campground. Ok, no problem. Get there Friday afternoon and discover we can camp in the White oak campground but the water is not yet turned on. I have rechecked all my paperwork and nowhere does it mention that the water is not turned on until April 1st. We had to fill up the water tank at the reservation office but were assured that the water outside the bath house was also turned on. We looked but couldn't find a faucet that was working at the bathhouse. Would like to have had a warning about the water so we could bring our water containers. Also, paid full rate for E/W campsite even though we had no water. Most of sites were long but there wasn't much privacy between the sites. Enjoyed hiking around the dam and lake. Will probably go back to spend more time checking out the area and trails. Also, this is a Verizon dead zone.

We reserved a waterfront site and what a great decision! This campground was the fifth we stayed in on this trip and our favorite. After a stressful day, we enjoyed the onsite lobster dinner. We will be back next year...

This was a beautiful park and I wish we could have stayed more than one night. The cable was good and the internet worked great. Trash cans were located throughout the park and the grounds were very neat.

Stayed here for a week. The campground is nice but after asking specifically about Wi-Fi was told that it reached to all sites. It doesn't...Also need to add a gravel driveway to the sites along the fence so you don't have to walk through mud. Cable kind of worked but not many channels. Liked being in town and the campground was very quiet in the evenings.

We stayed here one night. The owner was very nice but this campground was very depressing. There seemed to be a lot of people permanently living here and traffic was back and forth all hours. Didn't try any of the facilities but there is no cable or wi-fi. This is not a destination park.

We stayed here overnight on the way to our destination. The park was very nice. Check in was fast. The site was level. If highway noise bothers you, this is not the place to be. It was so loud, it could be heard inside with the TV on. We closed up the camper and turned on the air to drown some of it out. Wifi worked ok but slowed down to a crawl at times. Didn't check out the bathrooms.

Since we planned this trip in advance, I reserved an up front river site which was great. Loved sitting out under the awning and watching the river traffic. Would have rated the park a 10 but their WiFi is terrible.

We love this park in the off season. Very quiet and since it was cold, not much action in the houses that are next door. Everyone is extremely friendly. Would give the park a 10 except their advertised WiFi did not work at our site.

Stayed one night and park was everything that was advertised. Especially enjoyed the level pull through that allowed us to stay hitched for the night. WiFi worked great.

Park is new and very clean. All advertised services work great. BUT if you have a problem with highway noise or train noise, this is not the place for you. WiFi works great.

We stayed here for a long weekend while visiting Pittsburgh for business. The main road up to the office is in terrible shape. The pull through site we had was adequate but was sloped so using a chair outside was not possible. There are some campers and tents set up there for the season that look pretty bad. The noise from the highway is very loud. All advertised utilities worked good except for the wifi. Went out a couple of times and was slow. This is not a destination campground but would stay there again if passing through.

Very nice family oriented park. We were passing through and stayed one night. Would have been a 10 but the wifi was terrible. When it worked it was slow but most of the time it was not working.

Stayed there for a week's vacation. Location is great. Right on Lake Fontana, close to Tsali bike trails and the NOC. Park has mostly seasonals but leaves some open spots. Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient place to rent a boat or take out your own. Only problem was water pressure was very low during parts of the day. Will stay again.

Beautiful park with great owner. Stayed on site 3 down near creek and the views were beautiful. Park has access to walking/bike path which was great to use in the evenings. Looking forward to going back. WiFi worked great.

We sent several long weekends in the Tulip loop during the winter. This is a great place to visit in the off season. We had the place to ourselves. Enjoyed our conversations with the park rangers.

This was our first RV park experience. I thought it would look like the website and I was very disappointed. The lake is tiny, there is only one site that actually has the gazebo on the site and the sites are very close together. If you weren't careful, you could walk out of our camper and roll down the hill to visit the camper right below. On the bright side, the bathrooms were very clean. Understand the owners let all the local kids use the pool in the summer. Won't go back - it's not our scene.
